Note
A few installations of WPO10 and later cannot handle callback dialogs.
Most work as they should. You discover whether yours is affected by playing a macro that uses a callback dialog. If the macro succeeds, then your WPO gets a clean bill of health. It is not known why this happens, and consequently there is no known remedy.

2008: Now it appears that this glitch may relate to a PerfectScript setting. I was able to restore normal activity using this routine:
Close WP. Open the relevant WPO version of PerfectScript.
Do Ctrl-Alt-Shift-Enter.
If you see a MessageBox that includes the word disabled, [OK], then repeat the keystroke.
[OK]

Tools|Settings|Debug Tab|UNcheck [ ]Invoke debugger on errors
[OK], File, Exit.

Done

If I have written a (necessarily: simpler) version without callbacks, this is indicated. If the macro seems to be just what you want and there is no alternative version, an email might well get one written. However, in some cases the callback routine is central and cannot be replaced without wrecking the macro. Many but not all such macros contain a note of whether such a rewrite is possible.
